These boots were made for walking

In a cycle which moves as fast as the seasonal collections and fashion shows from countless designers fighting to imprint, some pieces may get lost in the process, while others tower over it all and quite literally crush the odds under their heels.

Marc Jacobs debuted one of my favourite pieces that ever walked down a runway at his Spring 2017 Ready to wear show in New York. The calfskin disco boots showcased immaculate craftsmanship and expertise as the buttery leather fit like second skin. These masterpieces had models slicing down the runway towering up to a solid 7ft, and while their seemingly impossible to walk in, height makes these boots look intimidating, keeping them boxed in would be a cardinal sin.
