The much anticipated met Ball just passed followed by the annual Cannes Film Festival and now while the buzz is still going lets take a look back on the looks worn on the red carpet of this years' gala themed: Heavenly bodies: Fashion and the Catholic imagination. As anticipated from the theme this year, maximalist fashion names would be frontrunners of the evening. It comes as no surprise that the event heavily featured Versace, not only because the theme goes hand in hand with the houses luxurious Italian aesthetic but also seeing as Donatella was one of the co-hosts this year along side Amal Clooney and Rihanna.
