The Nottingham Contemporary recently opened their doors to Linder as a showcase to their acclaimed exhibit " House of Fame" where it will remain for the enjoyment of the public until the 24th of June.
The carefully curated exhibition is a recollection of pieces celebrating the influential British artists work which expands over a variety of fields including Photomontage, photography, music, costume and performance and while it promises to imprint on the viewer it also challenges topics such as gender, sexuality and identity. Linder erodes from the Manchester punk scenes in the 1970s and includes the work of 30-some artists works of which date as far back as the 1600s. The exhibit envelopes the worlds of art and architecture, fashion and theatre, music and design thus, forming an experience which will undeniably resonate with any audience.
