The Gilded Merkin is a national all women Cabaret - Burlesque show on the move all around the UK under the supervision of Scarlet Daggers; A well known name in the performance scene around the UK. The Gilded Merkin recently brought their extravagant show to Nottingham at the venue provided by the glee club. The show featured music, comedy, entertainment, nudity and a whole lotta sauce. With acts of various backgrounds carefully selected nationwide they delivered across a memorable, sexy, funny evening while also being (A little too, but never enough) interactive with the audience whilst also hosting a best dressed competition with prizes to be won like a free ticket to their next show or a pair of racy stockings.
Smartly of course, the show held a no-camera policy, a common precaution when watching live performances of this nature, in order to keep the exclusivity, originality and of course, the tease! The Infamous diva of burlesque herself ms Dita Von Teese keeps a very tight policy when it comes to her shows as well, so unless you can afford a pricey ticket to ms' Von Teese show, you will never watch all the otherworldly acts you hear described, materialise before you.
On that note, be on the look out for any tickets to the next Gilded Merkin show, oh!
