African deities: Illustrated

A new name emerged in the field of fine art these past few years. Determined to carve a space of her own in the industry, Sara Golish based just out of Toronto, Canada communicates her art through beautifully illustrated pieces which can be seen in prestigious galleries including Saachi. Aside from Illustration she has also extensively worked as a decorative painter which involved exploring traditional techniques as well as modernising a few in her own signature way.

Some of her most striking works started appearing in corners around the web and soon became a bubbling matter. Her interpretation of African female figures, often referred to as goddesses give the impression that they are indeed a fragment of history from a world parallel to ours but one which exists only through the imagination of this young Fine Artist.

The characteristic collection of illustrations is actually divided in two subdivisions which go by the title: " The moondust collection " and " The sundust collection". The overall piece harmoniously between the two collections through discreet differences which complement the codependent yet contrasting pieces.
