The magic behind Claire Danes' fairytale MET Gala gown

When looking back through last years MET Gala it is no wonder how its still talked about today, from Rihanna stepping out in Guo Pei and securing her title another solid year as the reigning queen of the MET, to Claire Danes magical white gown who had everyone talking after we witnessed it transform into a light show in the dim light.

She stepped out in a beautiful yet seemingly normal white strapless ballgown, which in pair with the actresses beautiful brassy hair in a clean up-do strongly referenced a real life cinderella, and in retrospect looked nothing short of a princess straight out of a fairytale.

The designer behind this legendary garment is none other than Zac Posen, who's personal aesthetic and design style shines straight through the garment even prior to the big reveal after the lights went down. He used a very modern fabric which incorporated the latest microfibre technology which allows for ample light flow and subsequently when combined with the vision of the young designer was a groundbreaking moment in fashion and technology's relationship.
